Liturgical

The music ministry at Sacred Heart strives to support and enhance liturgy in prayerful song.  We make every effort to welcome people of all ages and employ their spirit filled talents and gifts in service to the parish community.  Musicians, singers, and instrumentalists serve at all masses.  While involved in this ministry, members attend weekly rehearsals, serve at weekly masses, and serve at special and Holy Day celebrations. 

The ministries of Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Sacristan, Usher, and Altar Server are open as needed.  People who have expressed an interest in these ministries are contacted when there are openings and a training date is set.  People who have experience in these ministries from other parishes will still need to receive training for this particular parish.  Ministries are limited to specific requirements of the Diocese of St Augustine and of the Parish.

Our parish offers Adoration from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the first Friday of each month as well as from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the third Friday of each month.  To sign up for an hour, please call or text Mary Jo.  You can also just stop by whenever you have a chance!
